As Democrats rush to find the nearest cameras and microphones to politicize the sickening shooting of 19 children and two teachers at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, the NRA is scheduled to host their annual convention in Houston beginning on Friday.
But two Republican lawmakers who were scheduled to attend the convention have suddenly found themselves with “scheduling conflicts.”
…Also not attending is Rep. Dan Crenshaw, whose district includes Houston suburbs. Crenshaw opted to be even further away from the convention than Cornyn.
His Chief of Staff, Justin Discigil, told Yahoo News, “Congressman Crenshaw is in Ukraine and we let the event organizer know that he wouldn’t be back in the country in time to attend the event Friday evening.” Read more…
